Day-to-Day:
- Coaching a sales team to follow a proven consultative sales model to identify a guest's
need for ongoing massage & skin care services.
- Consultatively sell guests on the 'need' for continued therapy based on therapist's
Wellness Plan.
- Manage and direct a front desk to provide excellent service to members/ guests by
answering phone calls, setting appointments, greeting members/ guests upon arrival and
selling memberships.
- Pull and analyze reports to identify areas of focus and additional training needed.
- Assign call lists to staff to make outbound client service phones.
- Observe and coach skills with team. Track results and share with Clinic Manager.
- Conduct one-on-ones weekly along other sales management techniques to keep the sales
team focused on results.
- Manage the Sales Team in maintaining a professional front desk and reception area.
- Manage administrative tasks including documenting employee behavior, reviews and
staff schedule.
- Various duties as assigned by Owner/Management.

Education, Skills and Training:
Qualified candidates will:
- Possess a strong command of human anatomy (strongly preferred)
- Be either:
- A Certified Personal Trainer who:
- Possesses a minimum of one year of experience in personal training, fitness coaching, therapeutic bodywork or related field, and has either completed or possesses
- A Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field
- A current certification from NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM or AFPA or similar personal training certification program
- A Licensed Massage Therapist who:
- Adheres to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License or
- Has completed a minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion.
- Complete a background and reference check with satisfactory results as a condition of employment in this position.
- Understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy, stretch therapy, and bodywork.

Responsibilities:
Sales
- Sell wellness package memberships to Massage Envy guests
- Recommend upgrades to client and guest treatment plans such as aromatherapy
- Inform guests of additional services such as facials or stretching
- Encourage home-care retail purchases based on service provider recommendations
Customer Service
- Greet guests and members as they enter the clinic
- Efficiently and effectively check members in and out for appointments
- Answer phones and proactively reach out to clients to book appointments and collect payments
- Resolve customer issues through empathy, active listening and creative problem solving
Administrative
- Book appointments to achieve maximum scheduling efficiency
- Maintain client files and proactively communicate client wants and needs to service providers
- Clean and disinfect common areas as needed
- Completes all other duties assigned by management
- Resolve customer issues through empathy, active listening and creative problem solving consistent with company culture as well as standards, practices, policies, and procedures
Required Experience
- Prior sales and customer service experience preferred.
- Must have computer and cash handling skills.
- Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work cohesively with others in creating fun in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills both on the phone and in person
- High school diploma or equivalent.
