Job Title: Assistant Manager
Reports To: General Manager / Store Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $18 – $20 per hour (based on experience)
The Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of the business, ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth workflow, and adherence to company standards. This role works closely with the Manager to lead the team, meet performance goals, and maintain a positive and productive work environment. The Assistant Manager is directly responsible for supervising the Wellness Advisors team and ensuring they achieve individual and clinic-wide goals.
Operational Leadership
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, scheduling, and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Monitor and maintain operational efficiency, addressing challenges promptly.
Team Supervision & Development
Supervise and manage Wellness Advisors, providing guidance, motivation, and support.
Hold Wellness Advisors accountable for meeting and exceeding clinic sales and performance goals.
Provide training to new employees and ongoing development for current team members.
Support in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
Customer Service
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt, professional, and friendly service.
Resolve customer concerns or complaints effectively and professionally.
Promote products/services and encourage customer loyalty.
Sales & Performance
Assist in meeting or exceeding overall clinic sales targets and KPIs.
Monitor Wellness Advisors’ performance metrics and coach them toward improvement.
Support promotional activities and special events to drive membership and service sales.
Administrative Duties
Assist in managing schedules, payroll, and inventory records.
Prepare reports for the Manager as needed.
Handle cash management and ensure accurate financial transactions.
2+ years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role (retail, hospitality, wellness, or service industry preferred).
Proven ability to lead sales teams and meet performance goals.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (POS systems, Microsoft Office, etc.).
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Capability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay: $18 – $20 per hour (based on experience)
