Massage Envy is more than a wellness destination—we’re a community committed to helping people feel their best. We’re looking for a Membership Sales Lead to join our Front Desk team and champion our mission through meaningful client connections and results-driven leadership.
This role blends front desk excellence with sales leadership, guiding clients toward wellness solutions through our membership program, gift cards, and retail offerings. You’ll lead by example, inspire your team, and help clients make empowered decisions—not through pressure, but through purpose.

- Lead Membership Sales: Engage clients in thoughtful conversations to help them understand how our membership supports their wellness goals.
- Drive Gift Card & Retail Sales: Promote products and services that enhance the client experience.
- Set the Standard: Model exceptional front desk service—greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Coach & Motivate: Support team performance by sharing best practices, celebrating wins, and helping others grow.
- Achieve & Exceed Goals: Meet individual and team sales targets with opportunities for commission and bonuses.

Qualified Candidates:
- Have management and/or sales experience, preferably in a personal service environment such as a spa, salon, or gym. Massage industry experience is a PLUS but not required.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities of a Membership Sales Lead
Client Engagement & Membership Sales
- Greet every guest with warmth, professionalism, and genuine interest in their wellness goals
- Conduct personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend membership solutions
- Use the “solve, not sell” approach to guide clients toward joining our wellness membership
- Follow up with first-time guests via phone or text to encourage return visits and membership enrollment
- Track and report daily membership conversions and identify opportunities for improvement
Front Desk Operations & Guest Experience
- Manage appointment scheduling with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes that leave a lasting positive impression
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a calm, solution-focused demeanor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk environment
Sales Leadership & Team Collaboration
- Lead by example in achieving personal sales goals for memberships, gift cards, and retail
- Motivate and coach team members to meet shared sales targets
- Share successful strategies and celebrate wins during team huddles or shift transitions
- Collaborate with management to identify peak times and implement strategies to boost guest counts
Marketing & Outreach Support
- Participate in local outreach efforts (e.g., community events, referral programs) to attract new guests
- Promote in-clinic specials and campaigns to drive interest and engagement
- Encourage guests to refer friends and family through our referral incentives
Performance & Growth
- Monitor daily performance metrics and contribute ideas to improve conversion rates
- Attend ongoing training sessions to sharpen sales and service skills
- Take initiative to learn about new products, services, and promotions
