Compensation:

Starting pay is $11/hr.  We offer regular performance reviews and ability for high performers to advance quickly within our organization.  

 

Job Responsibilities:

This is not a Reception position.  As a Front Desk Sales Associate, your main responsibility will be to present our Wellness Program to prospective members. You will conduct a pre-chat prior to each new potential member’s appointment in order to record personal information.  You will then follow their appointment with a customized wellness presentation based upon their individual needs. You will also record all client and sales information for future follow-up.  Specific duties include:

  • Promoting the Wellness Program.
  • Consistently meeting performance targets.
  • Answering phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Matching guests with the appropriate therapists for their individual needs and booking appointments for them
  • Setting and checking members and guests in and out for appointments.
  • Greeting members and guests upon arrival.
  • Making follow-up calls to clients in order to process payments, confirm appointments and set new appointments
  • Re-engaging inactive members.
  • Keeping management apprised of member concerns and following manager’s policies, procedures and direction.
  • Accepting constructive criticism in a positive manner and using it as a learning tool.
  • Upholding the Massage Envy brand’s core values of optimism, gratitude, excellence, consistency and empathy.
  • Staying updated on retail products and promotions.
  • Recognizing and supporting team goals and creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members.

Qualifications

 

 Education, Skills and Training:

  • Must be able to complete a background check with satisfactory results as a condition of employment
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Possess basic math and cash handling experience.
  • Have strong phone and computer skills.
  • Have previous customer service experience (preferred).
  • Be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
  • Work cohesively with others in a fun and fast-paced environment.

Communications and Personal Interactions

  • Have a strong customer service orientation and be able to communicate effectively with members and guests, prospective clients, vendors, and the franchised location’s management and team.
  • Maintain client confidentiality.
