Now hiring motivated Lead Esthetician to work for Massage Envy located in Jersey City. We are looking for a responsible and dedicated team player to perform various facials, Microderm's and Chemical Peels.

We are looking for a "STAR ESTHETICIAN"

Must have MINIMUM Three Years of experience!

*******MUST HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE! *******

Additional responsibilities include:

- Providing excellent guest service.

- Consistently implementing rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures with members and guests.

- Confidently and knowledgeably educating members and guests, recommending services and products, and recommending and performing protocols based on their needs with consistency and compliance with brand standards.

- Linking skincare products to your service to enhance the guests experience at home.

- Staying updated on retail products and promotions.

- Recognizing and supporting team goals and creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members.

Education, Skills and Training:

- Must know Specialty facials and have minimum of 1 years of experience in the field.

- Adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the esthetics services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Esthetics License (Skin Care Specialist)

- Must have Esthetician liability insurance

- Have knowledge of and experience in performing facials, as well as the ability to follow protocols.

- Communications and Personal Interactions

- Have a strong customer service orientation.

- Possess the ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) and in a courteous and professional manner on a regular basis with members, guests, co-workers and management.

Lead responsibilities:

  • Leading the way to an amazing experience for members and guests by managing the daily operations of the location, maintaining a clean, safe, therapeutic environment for everyone and guiding the sales and customer service team to positively resolve customer challenges.
  • Helping the location move more people forward in their wellness journeys by driving membership, promoting retail sales, partnering with the franchisee to set performance goals and working with the team to achieve them.
  • Building a high-achieving team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing training and mentorship, and reviewing performance regularly to empower team members to improve and grow.
  • Running a tight ship where every operational detail is addressed, from managing inventory to ensuring compliance with all labor and employment laws applicable to location employees (including any local and state licensing laws for massage therapists and estheticians).
  • Assessing schedule changes with schedule needs.
  • Creating a strong workplace culture where all employees feel valued, good work is recognized, issues are resolved quickly and fairly, and everyone feels connected to the mission.

Estheticians:

  • Performing quality, professional skin care services that meet clients' needs within scope of practice and licensing guidelines as applicable in our state.
  • Customizing facial and body treatments within Massage Envy's policies, protocols to craft truly personalized sessions and recommending a home-care regimen to achieve desired results.
  • Safeguarding the client experience, maintaining client confidentiality and upholding our commitment to safety.
